After testing other brands, I must say, Field is the best cast iron cookware on the market, in terms of quality, looks and performance. It is lighter but still has the necessary mass on the bottom for good heat retention. It seasons faster than other brands due to the lighter weight. Not as fast as Carbon steel but almost there. No sacrifice in performance. Just added convenience and efficiency. The seasoning looks smooth and even unlike other brands.
If you can afford it and you like to cook, I would highly recommend this brand.

I have many cast Iron pieces, some old, some newer. I have used every type of oil or lard over the years to season them. This seasoning blend is the best I have used, and a little goes a long way. The brush is handy, but the chain mail scrubber is the bomb for tough spots. Absolutely will buy again.
