    This is the way

After years of trying to achieve seasoning perfection with a popular, inexpensive cast iron skillet, I finally did a little research and discovered that it's just not possible on a skillet without a machined cooking surface. After comparing a few options, the Field skillet offered the set of features and level of detail and engineering that suited my needs and tastes the most. I've been using my No. 10 now for a few weeks, and it has exceeded expectations. With every use it keeps getting better. Looking forward to using this skillet from here on out. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on a central element to your kitchen that will last a lifetime.

    No. 10=number 1!!!

This is my second FC skillet. I had other less expensive cast iron skillets that I am now replacing with your Field Company skillets. FC skillets are SO much nicer than my others. . . Lighter weight, less seasoning needed, and such an overall quality product. Thank you for bringing back high quality cast iron!

    Beautiful surface finish and seasoning!

Well done on this masterpiece. It is indeed a bit lighter and although having lower thermal mass capacity, the heat retention is more than adequate, there is no casting porosity, and the smooth seasoned surface is very easy to keep clean. It is one of my favorite culinary tools now.

Thank you for this great product!
